First-year graduate student, Corey Magaldino, gives presentation on thesis plans

First-year graduate student, Corey Magaldino, gave a presentation regarding his thesis plans on April 28th.  His thesis examines which physical-mathematical relationships can be used to perceive spatial properties of objects via haptic perception.  By using an apparatus that only provides inertial information, Corey aims to demonstrate that moment of inertia information is sufficient to accurately and reliably identify object properties, specifically disk diameter. Corey is mentored by Dr. Kenneth Steele.
