First year graduate student Jessica Udry gave a presentation on her thesis plans on March 18th, entitled “Another look at Milgram: The role of normative information and reflection time.” For her thesis, Jessica plans to revisit the classic Milgram studies on obedience to authority. By using a novel computer mediated paradigm, she hopes to gain new insight into the conditions that contribute to obedience. Jessica is mentored by Dr. Rose Mary Webb.
