First year graduate student Kat Hardin gives presentation on thesis plans

First year graduate student Kathryn Hardin gave a presentation on her thesis plans on April 8th. Her thesis, entitled “Cognition and rumination in depression” will explore the nature of the cognitive deficits commonly observed in depression. Kat suggests that the deficits may be due to rumination- a particular pattern of negative thinking that is commonly associated with depression. Kat is mentored by Dr. Lisa Emery.
